Curator Joanie Cere brings together a group of musicians and singers who have been performing together and apart in New Mexico and beyond for close to 50 years. Cadillac Bob and the Rhinestones ride again for the 2025 edition of Ladies Sing the Blues. This group, whose founding members came together in the mid 70s, enjoyed great success and popularity for almost three decades. The Rhinestones joined the group in the mid 80s when New Mexico Jazz Workshop hosted a benefit at the old Albuquerque Airport.

So… put on your dancin’ shoes and get ready for a night of rockin’ nostalgia and fun with this stellar group of Albuquerque’s finest.

This year’s performance is dedicated to the memories of Kathy Gutierrez and Mike Fleming, singer and drummer who left the fold far too soon.

LSB 25 features:
Dan Dowling, guitar

John Griffin, bass

Arnold Bodmer, keys

John Truitt, sax

Chuck Coulter, trumpet

Ron Lipton, harp and sax

featuring Joanie Cere, Denise Brissey and Wendy Beach as the Rhinestones.
