Adult Low-Sensory Evening: Blooming with Pride!

The ABQ BioPark is hosting an adult low-sensory night at the Botanic Garden this summer, in the spirit of pride! This event was created especially for neurodivergent adults, those with sensory sensitivities, or anyone who prefers a peaceful alternative to traditional Pride events. Join us for an evening of quiet beauty and connection surrounded by the natural serenity of the garden, offering a low-stimulation space where LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies can celebrate at their own pace.

Each ticket includes one complimentary beverage, cocktails available to those attending who are 21+ and show a valid form of ID. Also included in the purchase of a ticket are summer treats such as fresh cut fruit and Dippin' Dots! A variety of activities included with your purchase are listed below:

• Soft lighting and reduced noise
• Gentle walking paths and seating areas for reflection
• Quiet social spaces to connect or simply unwind
• No pressure, no crowds—just community, comfort, and quiet celebration.

• Silent Disco under the garden concert pavilion
• Plant-themed arts and crafts
• Quiet Zones
• Giant games on Festival Green

• Celebrate with Style: Pride is about expressing your true self! Creative, colorful, and themed attire is encouraged. Show your Pride with flags, glitter, costumes, drag, leather, or glam.
• Clothing is Not Optional: All guests must wear clothing at all times. Outfits must fully cover all private areas. See-through or sheer fabrics must include opaque coverage underneath. 
• Footwear Required: Shoes or other protective footwear are required at all times for your safety. The garden has uneven terrain.

Please note this is an adult only event (18+). Event will occur rain or shine. Space is limited; advanced ticket purchase online is required. No walk-ins, no refunds or transfers.
