Caity Gyorgy

Three-time JUNO award winning Canadian bebop and swing vocalist and songwriter in the style of the Great American Songbook, Caity Gyorgy, has worked and recorded with artists like Christine Jensen, Pat LaBarbera, and The UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra. She has released several albums in just 5 years featuring her original music and jazz standards, including Hello! How Are You? (2024), which won a JUNO award for “Best Jazz Album of the Year” and her 2023 album with pianist Mark Limacher, You’re Alike, You Two, for which she received a nomination. Gyorgy’s songs have been sung by other vocalists around the world and have won multiple awards, including the Grand Prize in the jazz category of the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest.  Ms Gyorgy will be joined by Mark Limacher on piano; Thomas Hainbuch, bass; and Ryan Shaw, drums.
