Nnenna Freelon with Alan Pasqua & Keith Ganz

Seven-time Grammy nominee and multi-award-winning vocalist, composer, author, actress and playwright, Nnenna Freelon, was recently inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. She has toured with Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, George Benson, Benny Golson, and Ellis Marsalis, among others, and won the Billie Holiday Award from the prestigious Academie du Jazz. Freelon received a Grammy nomination for her 2021 release, Time Traveler and a 2022 Jazz Masters Award from the prestigious “Women’s Jazz and Blues Association of Palm Springs,” and this year, she released Beneath the Skin, her first collection of originals, featuring pianist Alan Pasqua and guitarist Keith Ganz, who join her tonight to perform music from that album as well as a few holiday standards. $35/$25 Members. $15 students.
