The ABQ BioPark is hosting an adult low-sensory night at the Botanic Garden this summer, in the spirit of pride! This event was created especially for neurodivergent adults, those with sensory sensitivities, or anyone who prefers a calmer alternative to traditional Pride events. Join us for an evening of quiet beauty and connection surrounded by the natural serenity of the garden, offering a low-stimulation space where LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies can celebrate at their own pace. This year’s event celebrates biodiversity in nature. Visit various discovery stations to learn about plants and animals and what makes them unique. No pressure, no crowds—just community, comfort, and quiet celebration.
Activities Happening:
• Silent Disco in the Showroom
• Plant and bug themed arts and crafts
• Quiet Zones
• Meet live arthropods
• Giant games on Festival Green
• Ambassador animal encounters
• Meet with local community resource partners
