Buffalo Rose is thrilled to welcome The Williams Brothers Band to Golden for their very first Rose appearance — and if you know anything about James and Phil Williams, you know this is going to be one for the books.

Hailing from the high desert of Western Colorado, The Williams Brothers Band has spent 35+ years building one of the most devoted followings in the Mountain West. James "Papa Bear" Williams and his brother Phil have shared stages with Little Feat, Jason Isbell, Reckless Kelly, The Wailers, Lukas Nelson, and dozens more — and every single night they bring something different. All-star rotating lineups, extended jams, and a setlist that can swing from Outlaw Country to East Bay Funk to deep blues without missing a beat.

This is the kind of live music experience that reminds you why you love live music. Raw, road-worn, and completely unpredictable — A Night of Western Slope Jams is exactly what it sounds like.

Come early. Stay late. You won't want to miss a minute.

The Williams Brothers Band — James "Papa Bear" Williams and his younger brother Phil — spent a decade as fixtures of the Northern California music scene before relocating to Colorado in 2000. Since then, they've become the undisputed anchor of Western Colorado music: the longest-running, most successful band in the region and the most requested direct support act for national touring acts coming through their home territory.

True purveyors of American music, TWBB crosses genres with ease — blending Classic Rock, Outlaw Country, Blues, East Bay Funk, and High Desert Americana into a sound entirely their own. Known for unique performances featuring all-star backing lineups that change night to night, no two shows are alike. Their music has charted on Blues, Americana, Country, and Blues Rock charts in both the U.S. and the U.K.

Over 35+ years of performing, James and Phil have shared stages with an extraordinary range of artists — from Little Feat and Jason Isbell to The Wailers, Lukas Nelson, and Reckless Kelly — and headlined festivals and venues across the American West and beyond. The Williams Brothers Band is, simply put, one of the hardest-working and most versatile live acts in the country.
