GRATEFUL DUB: a Reggae-infused tribute to the GRATEFUL DEAD - RoC (Roots of Creation) has taken on a unique new project: Grateful Dub: a Reggae-infused tribute to the Jerry Garcia & The Grateful Dead. Combining their longtime love for Reggae-Dub style music and the Grateful Dead, RoC reworked some of the world's favorite Dead tunes into a new studio album. RoC had the pleasure of working in the studio with the legendary 5-time Grammy winner Errol Brown who was Bob Marley's sound engineer for this project. Grateful Dub is also being performed live in its entirety at festivals, theatres, and clubs around the country, and features rotating live special guests that has included Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), Scott Guberman (Phil Lesh), Zach Nugent, RyMo, AG, & Paul W. The group is led by songwriter Blake Christiana on vocals and guitar, a rotating group of electric guitarists including Matteo Joseph Recchio, Joel Timmons, and others, Rick Bugel on bass, and Robert Bonhomme on drums. Almost every live date includes some surprise guests or featured soloists.

By playing up to 170 dates a year, they have earned a reputation as a hard-working live act. "They have landed on the Grammy ballot 4 times, garnered nods from the Americana Music Association, placed top five on both Radio and Records and the AMA album charts, garnered airplay on Sirius FM, iTunes, Pandora, CNN, and CMT, and also accorded the "Download of the Day" from Rolling Stone.[4] Their latest project "Lucky 13" involves releasing new singles, with "A" and "B" side, on the 13th of each month, charging $5 for an entire year's worth of music. They have recorded 11 albums, in addition to a couple of releases under Christiana's name. 

Blake Christiana, founding member of Yarn, has the music in him. In fact, you could say that Blake is the music and the music is Blake; that's how deeply he inhabits the songs he writes and plays. You can hear him struggling with his feelings, whether it's on a skittering country shuffle or on a mid-tempo folk ballad or a straight-ahead rocker. His restless search for the chords and lyrics over the past 20 years has produced a plethora of memorable music, and since 2007 he's led Yarn, a band that's evolved from its earliest days as a bar band in New York City to an outstanding roots band that's shared stages with Dwight Yoakam, Marty Stuart, Alison Krauss, and Leftover Salmon, among many others. Yarn got their start by playing a weekly residency at Kenny's Castaways in Greenwich Village in 2007."We played there every Monday night for two years. I was writing like crazy, and we'd try out the songs. It was like rehearsing on stage; every night was different, and sometimes we played in front of five people and sometimes there'd be 100 people there." Over the years, musicians have rotated in and out of Yarn, but drummer Robert Bonhomme and bassist Rick Bugel, along with Christiana, have remained the core of the band.

DONAVON FRANKENREITER

For nearly four decades Donavon has been traveling the globe, first as a professional surfer and now as a musician. Born in Southern California, Donavon spent most of his youth chasing waves, turning pro at the age of 16. These days instead of surf competitions, it's concert halls that brings Frankenreiter to town, where he entertains audiences with his unique blend of laid-back grooves, philosophical lyrics and soulful delivery.

HENDRIX FRANKENREITER

Hendrix Frankenreiter is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter and surfer from Kauai, Hawaii. Born into a creative family, Hendrix spent his childhood traveling the globe, immersed in surf culture and music. When not touring and making music, Hendrix devotes his time to surfing, fishing, hiking, and writing original music. Hendrix has been making music since a young age, however, in 2025 he took his original music into the studio to self produce a series of releases. The debut release, Wise Beyond Words, is set to be released on May 23rd. In support of his upcoming releases, Hendrix is slated to tour Australia and Brazil in 2025, followed by dates across Europe and the United States in early 2026, marking the next step in his burgeoning musical career.

Chronixx, Protoje became a prominent figure of the "reggae revival" movement. But it didn't stop there--his journey took him to uncharted territory, collaborating with global superstars like Jorja Smith, Alicia Keys, Pa Salieu, Wiz Khalifa and many more. His track"Switch It Up" ft. Koffee made its way into Barack Obama's 2021 Summer Playlist, a testament to Protoje's cross-generational appeal and cultural resonance. JesseRoyal is a Grammy-nominated, internationally acclaimed reggae singer, songwriter, and cultural voice of his generation. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Jesse has become a torchbearer for modern roots reggae, infusing conscious lyricism with contemporary rhythm and Rastafarian spirit. Known for breakout anthems like "Modern Day Judas" and "Finally", a track heralding Jamaica's long-overdue marijuana reform he has consistently used his music to challenge oppression, uplift communities, and celebrate heritage. His debut album, Lilyof DaValley (2017),debutedat#1onthe U.S. Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, and his 2021 follow-up, Royal, garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album, cementing his place among the genre'smost respected voices. The Broken Hearts were created by former Tom Petty and Mudcrutch band mate; musician/songwriter/author/bassist Charlie Souza along with singer/songwriter Shawn Scheller (Save The Radio!) as a tribute to his passing in October of 2017. Originally only intended only as a temporary project, the group of musicians including keyboardist Robin Swenson (Air Supply, Frankie Valli & Four Seasons, Chuck Negron's 3 Dog Night), guitarist Joe Sanders, drummer Scott Lockhart, Souza and Scheller became continuously requested to return to events in Tom's honor.

In 2018, the decision was made to become an official touring tribute project paying respect and honor to the life and music of Thomas Earl Petty (October 20, 1950 - October 2, 2017). The current touring band consists of Mateo Olivo as Mike Campbell on lead guitar, Julian Simonelli as Howie Epstein on bass guitar, Aidan Cain as Benmont Tench on Piano, Organ and keyboards, Scott Lockhart as Stan Lynch on drums and Shawn Scheller as Tom Petty on vocals and guitar.
