Leftover Salmon (2 Nights)

For the past quarter-century, Colorado’s Leftover Salmon has established itself as one of the great purveyors of Americana music, digging deep into the well that supplies its influences; rock ‘n’ roll, folk, bluegrass, Cajun, soul, zydeco, jazz and blues. During their twenty-five plus years as a band they have headlined shows and festivals from coast to coast, released nine albums, and maintained a vibrant, relevant and influential voice in the music world. The evolution of Leftover Salmon’s music is influenced by Leftover Salmon co-founders Drew Emmitt (mandolin/vocals) and Vince Herman‘s (guitar/singer) keen musical instincts, and follows a musical path that adheres to the deep tradition the duo started when they first formed the group along with deceased banjo player Mark Vann. The addition of new band members over the years has nurtured an unmistakable evolution and freshness in Leftover Salmon’s sound, and has added an edge to the long-lasting power of the band’s music.

Dumpstaphunk 

Dumpstaphunk stands out among New Orleans' best as one of the funkiest bands to ever arise from the Crescent City. Born on the Jazz & Heritage Festival stage, and descended from Neville family bloodlines, these soldiers of funk ignite a deep, gritty groove that dares listeners not to move. Their performances combine ingenious musicianship and complex funk and jazz arrangements with soulful melodies that are simple enough for anyone to enjoy.

Poor Man's Whiskey (2 Nights)

Poor Man's Whiskey plays "High Octane Hootenanny" music…Dance, laugh, sing. Emerging from the San Francisco bay area music scene this quintet has developed a sound that is eclectic and engaging. PMW has been winning over national audiences with their upbeat performances, zany stage antics, and infectious songs. While seamlessly integrating acoustic and electric instruments the band weaves tales of everyday life, inviting the audience to become a part of each show.

Gasoline Lollipops

Gasoline Lollipops is a Colorado band that combines the sincerity of dirt-floor folk with the energy and rebelliousness of punk. It's an all-new incarnation of alt-country that’s both high-energy and heartfelt, like the American highway's soundtrack. Colorado Daily readers voted Gasoline Lollipops "Best Local Musician/Group" for 2017. In 2016, Denver Westword named GasolineLollipops Colorado's Best Country Artist. In addition to touring repeatedly in America, Europe and Belize, the GasPops have also been on the bills of a number of great music festivals, including SXSW; NedFest; the Westword Showcase; Divide Festival; Bohemian Nights @ New West Fest; UMS Denver; Higher Ground Music Festival; Empire Americana; FoCoMX; Frozen Dead Guy Days and more.

Trout Steak Revival

Ever since winning the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition, Trout Steak Revival has quickly become a quintessential Colorado band. The band won an Emmy Award for a soundtrack they contributed to a Rocky Mountain PBS web documentary. They’ve collaborated with school children in mentoring programs in Denver and Steamboat Springs. Their music is featured on Bank of Colorado’s radio and television advertisements. Most recently, Westword named them Denver’s Best Bluegrass Band, and they were nominated as a Momentum Band of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association.

Sweet Lillies

High energy, progressive, original Americana music Colorado style. The Sweet Lillies’ high-energy, melodic tunes have quickly captured the hearts of fans in Colorado and beyond. The band, formed in November of 2013, credits its appeal to the original and compelling songwriting of three women who share an unwavering commitment to life on the road. The magnetic combination of Julie Gussaroff on the upright bass, Becca Bisque on the viola, and Melly Frances on percussion and lead vocals – together with powerful three-part female harmony and a cast of exciting instrumentalists – gives this band a rare and alluring sound. As testament to their appeal, The Sweet Lillies have already shared the stage with the likes of Peter Rowan, Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon, Kyle Hollingsworth of The String Cheese Incident, and Andy Hall of The Infamous String Dusters, Jeff Austin, and Bridget Law (founding member of Elephant Revival). Based out of Colorado’s Front Range, The Sweet Lillies are continually expanding their audience and reach with a contagious love of music and a get-up-and-dance attitude that spreads lots of love and smiles.

Liver Down the River

From the high mountain river-valley of Durango Colorado comes a six piece funk-adelic-grass band called Liver Down The River. The group has their roots in countless river floats, campfires, late night picking, and Colorado living. Since it’s creation in 2012, the band has strived to have nothing but a good time. Their unique sound and high energy performances have lead them to share the stage with the likes of the Kitchen Dwellers, Head for the Hills, Gipsy Moon, WhiteWater Ramble, Tony Furtado, and Bill Nershi to name a few.

The Noseeums

The Noseeums are an up and coming Funky/Progressive/Americana/"groove-grass" Jamband from the mountains of Taos, New mexico! Since their inception in November of 2017, they're growing reputation has led to a rising following of enthusiastic fans in the southwest. The Noseeums combine various genres into one innovative style. Their unique and creative sound is inspired by a diverse range of music. They unite rock and roll, funky rhythms, and old school groove with a progressive sound. Their approach to their playing style is comparable to the groovy, revolutionary jam-bands of old, such as "The Grateful Dead", and the high octane modernly dynamic, and improvisational ensembles of today's sold out festivals, such as "Railroad Earth".

Are tickets refundable? – Tickets are NON-Refundable. This is a rain or shine event! Are tickets transferable? – Yes, you may transfer your tickets to someone else in the unfortunate case you’re unable to join us, but they are non-refundable! Email info@taosmesabrewing.com for more info.

HAVE YOUR E-TICKET READY
To make your entrance go smoothly and to enter the fast lane, have your eTickets printed and ready or displayed on your smart phone ready to be scanned. We require all ticket buyers to retrieve their tickets personally and bring corresponding identification. If all else fails, please bring your photo ID and the credit card you used for your purchase so you can be looked up at the door.

PARKING & RE-ENTRY
Parking is FREE. We encourage carpooling for re-entering but encourage you to enjoy all that Taos has to offer.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Please review the Allowed & Prohibited items list for a stress-free entry process. Security will confiscate items if they are illegal, and will not hold any items until the festival is over.

WRISTBANDS
At the festival entrance gate you will be issued your GA, Camping, or Single Day wristbands. Do NOT remove between days, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry. Wristbands MUST be worn securely on wrist and cannot be slipped on and off. YOU WILL BE CHARGED $50 FOR A REPLACEMENT BAND.

MOBILE CHARGING
We will have a portable device charging station (located in Camping Recreation area. See map)

ALCOHOL
No Outside Alcohol. Alcohol will be for sale to individuals 21 and over with a valid ID. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at Taos Mesa Brewing. Spirits will be available at The Space Lounge. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed inside the fenced venue, and may not be brought in from or taken to the campgrounds.

FOOD VENDING
There will be many choices when it comes to food! Taos Mesa Brewing Restaurant, Food Vending includes food carts of all kinds serving breakfast/lunch/dinner, and a coffee cart.

LOST SOMETHING AT MOM FEST?
All lost and found items will be held at the BOX OFFICE

ACCESSIBILITY
Music on the Mothership Festival provides ADA accessible parking, entrances, restrooms, viewing/seating

WEATHER - Come Prepared!
This is a rain or shine event, so bring your rain gear just in case – better to be safe than sorry! And don’t forget your sunscreen. This time of year it’s best to bring layers. Although daytimes are usually very warm, nighttime temperatures can get in the low 30’s. Check the Weather!

KIDS
Children of all ages will be welcome. Ages 12 and under are FREE. Camping for Kids: 14 and under camp free. This is a very family-friendly event and let’s welcome everyone! Please supervise your children closely.

PETS
NO PETS. We are animals lovers too but please leave your furry friends at home. Household pets are not allowed anywhere on the grounds during festival weekend, for their safety and yours. Service animals permitted as allowed by the Americans with Disabilities Act. There is a fantastic Dog Boarding Facility just a 1 mile away at 10,000 Wags Pet Resort and Spa

CHAIRS AND BLANKETS
Please bring low back lawn chairs, blankets, and other necessities into the festival. You may use only low-back chairs in the venue; if you have standard lawn chairs you’ll need to sit in the back where you won’t obstruct anyone’s view. (STANDING ROOM ONLY AFTER 5:30pm.)

WATER
To discourage the use of plastic and decrease our festival footprint please bring your own personal refillable water cup and or container. NO GLASS! You may use at Taos Mesa Brewing and Bedouin Bar as well. There will be 3 water filling stations throughout the festival (see map). Refillable bottles must be brought in empty and filled inside the venue. You may bring two factory sealed bottles of water (up to 1 liter each) and refill them throughout the day at our free water filling stations

ICE
Ice will be available for purchase at The Bedouin Space Lounge ($5/bag)

OUTSIDE FOOD AND ALCOHOL
NO outside alcohol or food is allowed in the "venue" grounds. 

SHOWERS
Located at Hotel Luna Mystica. $5 for a 5 minute shower (for campers and non-campers)

ALLOWED

• Your own personal refillable water cup/container/hydration pack. NO GLASS! Refillable bottles must be brought in empty and filled inside the venue. Camelback’s are allowed, but must be empty
• Water – you may bring two factory sealed bottles of water (up to 1 liter each) and refill them throughout the day at our free water filling stations
• Portable/collapsible chair. Please NO CHAIRS AFTER 5:30pm in the Amphitheater.
• Hats and Sunscreen lotion (no aerosol containers)

PROHIBITED

• NO GLASS! Glass containers of any kind
• NO ALCOHOL / NO DRUGS or drug paraphernalia. MOM has a zero tolerance policy for all illegal activities. Drug use is ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. You must be 21 or older to drink alcohol.
• NO Fireworks, sparklers, firecrackers, and/or incendiary or explosive devices of any kind
• Any and all professional audio recording equipment
• Any and all professional video equipment – no video recording will be allowed
• Drones or any other remote flying device
• Firearms, explosives, and weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc)
• Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace and endanger the safety of the crowd.
• NO Pets (except service animals)
• Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc.
• No motorized vehicles (ATVs, motorcycles, scooters etc)

CAMP GROUNDS FAQ ~

If I have a festival pass and I want to camp do I need a camping pass?
Yes, every camper needs to purchase a camping pass in addition to their festival ticket.

Is camping included with a RV pass?
RV Passes do NOT include camping passes. Each person must have a camping pass and a General admission pass

What is an RV?
Any oversized vehicle, trailered camper and/or attached camper to a pick-up. If a vehicle is oversized and cannot fit in a 9X18.5 parking space it is considered an RV and therefore must have an RV pass.

What is car camping?
Each car camping space is 10×30 and allows individuals to camp next to their car.

Can I re-enter? What if I want reentry for car camping?
Guests will have access to come and go from the campground. However any vehicle that leaves the facility will be charged a $10 unlimited re-entry fee.

What is tent camping?
Tent camping spaces are for individuals that want to park in an allotted space and walk to their campsite -all campsites are close to parking areas. This pass does allow reentry. Individuals must always park in allotted parking spaces.  No driving into campsites to drop off camping gear.

How do I rent a trailer?
Our trailers are available for rent in the form of VIP packages.

Are kids allowed?
Yes, kids 14 and under camp free.

Ice and water?
There will be ice available for purchase. There will be several free water refill stations.

Specialty needs and ADA camping?
Please contact reservations@hotellunamystica.com to reserve handicap camping/parking.

Toilets?
Portable toilets and hand washing stations will be available throughout the campsite

Showers?
There is an onsite shower facility. $5 for a 5 minute shower

Recycling?
Every vehicle will be given two trash bags upon entering the campgrounds. One for recycling and one for waste. Before leaving we ask that each campsite disposes of their bags in the respected pr receptacles.
