Carla Van Blake is a singer, song writer, mother and wife. Carla started singing at age three when she joined her parents in a gospel choir. Although she was an engineer by day before becoming a full time musician, Carla says "my sanity was music." Carla published her first collection of original tunes in 1993 and has published two more since then. She also aired her first original on the radio in 1993 (Skinny Women Can't Sing The Blues) and was featured in California Jazz Now as an upcoming jazz artist the same year. In August 2018 Carla released a new collection of jazz originals and her first jazz CD. You may recognize Carla from her performances with Bobby Shew, Michael Anthony, John Rangel, Bert Dalton, Daniel Jackson, Sweet Baby J'ai and others both locally in Albuquerque, NM and in San Diego, CA.

Carla will be accompanied by Jim Ahrend and Milo Jaramillo.
