Shop Orientation is required for membership at Dovetail Community Workshop and for enrollment in some in-depth courses. This class is NOT required for most individual project classes unless otherwise noted.

We will cover the basics of shop safety and community woodworking, and practice using some of the most common tools in the shop. 

You must have safety glasses and hearing protection. We have them for sale at the shop or you may bring your own. Dust masks are strongly recommended but not provided. Wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes -- absolutely no sandals or flip flops allowed.

Teens ages 13-17 are permitted with adult in attendance.
