Born and raised in Denver, Michael Hornbuckle is the son of legendary bluesman Bobby Hornbuckle and carries on his musical legacy. He began playing drums for his father at 13 and, after Bobby’s passing, continued with his brother Brian. Their 1998 debut Pass the Torch blended blues and rock with heartfelt originals. Michael later toured nationally, released acoustic and studio albums, and refined his songwriting voice. Collaborations with producer Alex “Ace” Baker elevated his sound, while festival performances and awards,including honors from the Mile High Blues Society, cemented his reputation as a leading force in Colorado’s blues-rock scene.

Kara Grainger is a powerhouse vocalist and slide guitarist whose soulful, gritty sound blends blues, roots, and Americana. Raised in suburban Sydney, she began performing at 16 with her brother in Papa Lips, touring Australia and gaining national airplay. Since moving to the U.S., she has released multiple acclaimed albums, including Grand and Green River, and collaborated with top musicians. A seasoned international performer, Kara has played major festivals and shared stages with legends like Peter Frampton and Buddy Guy. Her heartfelt songwriting and electrifying performances continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
