7th Annual Wimberley GumboFest 2025

Get ready, Wimberley – GumboFest is back and spicier than ever!

Join us down at the bayou for the 7th annual ORIGINAL Wimberley GumboFest, happening Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the beloved Cypress Falls Swimming Hole. We’re stirring the pot once again in celebration of Cajun culture, community spirit, and a whole lot of gumbo—all in support of My Neighbor's Keeper and their incredible work right here in Wimberley. Thanks to y’all, the Wimberley Cajun Cultural Alliance (WCCA) has dished out over $48,000.00 to local charities and support groups through this flavorful fundraiser.

But GumboFest is more than just a cookoff—it’s a family-friendly celebration of culture, music, and good eats! Expect a full day of:

🎶 Live music to get your feet movin’ by Jean Pierre and the Zydeco Angels!

🍲 A championship-style Gumbo Cookoff

🎟️ Silent auctions and raffles with great local prizes

🚚 Food trucks and drink specials to keep you fueled

🎉 Games and fun for the whole family including an EASTER EGG HUNT!!!

And of course, the tastiest gumbo this side of the Sabine River!

This annual tradition has grown into a can't-miss event for locals and visitors alike—a vibrant day to soak in the sunshine, gather by the creek, and enjoy that unmistakable Cajun charm.

🎟️ Tickets:

General Admission: $15 — includes 5 gumbo tasting tickets, a cup, and a spoon

Gate Admission (once tastings are sold out): $10 adults

Kids under 12 free; 12 and over $5 (gumbo tastings not included, but plenty of tasty bites available)
