Join David Ramey and his wife Carla, who founded their winery in 1996, for a retrospective tasting of Ramey Chardonnay. After establishing Matanzas Creek in mid-80’s and Chalk Hill early 90’s David was the winemaker at Dominus Estate. David helped pioneer artisan winemaking in California and shape the way many wines in the U.S. are made today. David will show four single-vineyard Chardonnays from the 2015 vintage - Rochioli Vineyard, Estate Chardonnay-Westside Farms, Hyde Vineyard and Ritchie Vineyard and then four library wines featuring four exceptional vintages of Ramey Ritchie Chardonnay -- 2005, 2007, 2010 and 2013. David’s friend, Fred Dame MS, joins the panel.
